The Intimus 50 is desk side shredder is ideal for the medium sized office. With it will shred up to 28 sheets in a single pass into 4mm strips.
The Intimus Pro 50 series has the added DLS (Dynamic Load Sensor) technological feature to prevent overloading and increase usability. The DLS feature ensures long-term, trouble-free use. It is human nature to push technical equipment beyond its limits, avoiding the stress of jamming the cutting unit.
The Dynamic-Load-Sensor, detects the paper volume as it is feed into the cutting unit.
The result of this measurement is communicated to the user by changing colours, like traffic lights (Green-Go, Orange-optimal capacity, Red-Overload warning) by a light strip in the paper feed area. This sensor quickly alerts the user to input a balanced feed of paper, for trouble free shredding.
